Princeton University Chapel and Hyatt Regency Wedding: Greg and Jeremy

Greg and Jeremy got married at the Princeton University Chapel, then celebrated at their Hyatt Regency wedding reception with families and friends. We were especially excited that they encouraged us to share highlights from their wedding online. Kyo has been a LGBT wedding photographer in Princeton before, but our past clients didn’t want their photos published. We strongly believe in the rights of all couples to publicly and legally declare their commitment to each other. We’re so happy we can show our support with images that vividly show Greg and Jeremy’s love for each other.

Greg and Jeremy met each other online and quickly bonded over their shared love of movies and their loyalty and affection for family and friends. They entertain frequently and spend lots of time outdoors with their beloved dog. They also have a great sense of humor (for instance, Greg proposed to Jeremy with a ring pop!).

Their happiness together was palpable at the wedding — we especially love the photos from their wedding portrait session. After the ceremony, they wandered around Princeton University with Kyo, who shot pictures of them hanging out on the quad, laughing and talking. Their East Pyne Hall wedding portraits were classic Princeton, the grandeur of the Gothic university building in the background framing them as they kissed.

After the portrait session, Greg and Jeremy took a bus to the Hyatt Regency along with their parents and the wedding party. They worked with a great team of people to transform the Hyatt’s ballroom into a glamorous party: wedding planner Jasmine Cianflone of This Moment Events, florist Monday Morning Flowers, and lighting expert JB Lighting Production. I especially love the fall-themed place cards that they assembled with acorns and cut paper.

Of all the special details at their wedding, the one that probably got the most attention was their cake topper. They ordered custom bobblehead dolls of themselves — and their absolutely adorable little terrier, Chewbacca! (If you love this idea, you can order your own bobblehead cake topper from WowBobble.com.)

The toasts at Greg and Jeremy’s wedding were hilarious and had the two of them doubled over in laughter. And then came the dancing. It probably should not be a surprise that everyone kept the dance floor so busy. Greg and Jeremy obviously embrace the dictum “carpe diem” and appreciate every ounce of love, joy, and friendship in their relationships. Their friends and family reciprocated by celebrating their union with raucous, exuberant delight.

Congratulations, Greg and Jeremy!
