A Jasna Polana Princeton wedding: Jordan and David

We first met Jordan at her parents’ house almost a year ago, and our meeting with them was one of the most memorable “potential client” meetings we’ve had. Jordan and her mom and dad pored over our photographs so carefully and asked such thoughtful questions, and engaged us in such a spirited conversation about art, design, business, and life, that Kyo and I said to each other afterwards, “If Jordan doesn’t book us for her wedding, we will be sorely disappointed! What an amazing family!”

Well, as you can see, they did book us, and even though Kyo didn’t get the chance to meet David until the day of the meeting, we knew he and his family would be incredible too. If a person like Jordan had fallen in love with him, he must be special.

They held their Jasna Polana, Princeton, wedding on a clear day in early June. Jordan planned everything at the wedding herself, and worked with some amazing companies. Katherine Toland of Greystone Designs did the bouquets and centerpieces and the chuppah for the outdoor ceremony. The flowers were magnificent: a mélange of white flowers with pops of deep purple eggplant thistle. And the band at the reception, Hank Lane Music, rocked the house and had everybody (even the very youngest wedding guest) dancing and singing their hearts out until the end of the evening.

What I love about these wedding photos is that you can’t find a single picture of Jordan without a smile on her face. It seems like the phrase “a twinkle in her eye” was invented to describe her! As David explained to us, “Jordan is my perfect partner. I love her sweet, kind soul. She is the most loving and supportive person I know, and is a large part of every success in my life and the reason I work hard every day.”
