Prospect Park Engagement Pictures: Alex and Ethan

Alex and Ethan love nature and music. Their engagement session, while it didn’t specifically involve music, had such a romantic and care-free feeling to it that it almost feels like they had a soundtrack accompanying them.

They wanted Prospect Park engagement pictures because the park has great meaning for them. As Alex told us,

Prospect Park in Brooklyn is one of our favorite places to spend time. It has been right down the street for all the time we have been living together…. When we met, we talked for hours and hours about all kinds of things. When we take walks in the park, and get away from the noise of the city, we’ll sometimes just get lost and not really know where we are headed as we discuss whatever is on our mind…. But we always find our way eventually.

That’s true for a walk in the park, and it’s a great metaphor for a developing relationship, too. There will be times when you get lost, but if you listen to each other and let your ego drop away, you will always find your way.

Their engagement session totally matched Alex’s description of what the two of them love to do. Starting near Grand Army Plaza, they wandered all over the park, chatting and watching the swans, exploring the nooks and crannies, holding hands, laughing, and stealing lots of kisses.

We are really looking forward to Alex and Ethan’s farm-to-table wedding at Blooming Hill Farm next year. For that event, or course, there will be musical accompaniment. Knowing Alex and Ethan, it’s going to be amazing.
