Tim McLoone’s Supper Club Beach Wedding, Asbury Park
Andrea and Ehren’s wedding in Asbury Park had a casual, beachy vibe, which was just right for them. Both of them work in marine science and live on the Jersey Shore, and their wedding on the beach and at Tim McLoone’s Supper Club reflected their easy-going, low-key personalities.
Andrea paired her Catherine Deane wedding dress with succulent rosettes in her hair, and combined succulents with showy white dahlias in her bouquet. Ehren’s boutonniere was lovely combination of thistle and rosemary. It was an unusual look that worked perfectly for them.
They held their ceremony on the sand just outside Tim McLoone’s Supper Club, where they exchanged vows under a simple, handmade willowwood arch, bound with rope. During the middle of the ceremony, the two of them took a few minutes to walk away from the crowd of guests, down to the edge of the water, and threw clamshells into the ocean with special wishes for their future.
The maritime theme carried over into their reception, too. The groomsmen wore socks festooned with dogfish, they created oyster shell candles as favors for their guests, and they topped their wedding cake from Chocolate Carousel with a pair of Adirondack beach chairs. (And they wanted to make sure all their guests could enjoy dessert, so they found vegan bakery Papa Ganache in Matawan and offered an additional, vegan, gluten-free wedding cake.)
Congratulations, Andrea and Ehren… may the rest of your lives together hold the same spirit of openness and adventure as your wedding day!
