One of our absolute favorite types of projects is making custom picture books for families. These projects make such touching holiday gifts (especially for grandparents, of course). Not to mention the pride that little kids feel when their bedtime book features themselves as the hero or heroine!
This was, as Julia and Harold fondly term it, a “re-wedding.” Their original wedding was supposed to be last year, on the day when Hurricane Irene struck. As lower Manhattan was being evacuated, they quickly formed a “plan B” and got married at their rehearsal dinner the night before.
