Winter Engagement Lifestyle Portrait in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NYC

We’ve photographed so many love stories in Prospect Park and Park Slope, and it never gets old. There’s just something about the mix of historic architecture, tree-lined streets, and hidden nature spots that makes this part of Brooklyn perfect for not only engagement but also for wedding and family photography!

This session started at Nitehawk Cinema, a favorite date-night spot for this couple. They love movies, so it felt right to kick things off at this indie theater before heading into Prospect Park to explore.

We had some fun twirling on Lullwater Bridge (completed in 1906), with the Boathouse, built in 1904, as a stunning backdrop.

As the sun set, we wrapped up the session in front of Brooklyn brownstones, where the warm glow of Park Slope’s gas lanterns created a romantic, timeless atmosphere.

Looking forward to documenting their wedding at Milk & Roses in Greenpoint next spring!
