Nassau Inn Fall Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
Jennifer and Jim are an intrepid couple who met for their first date at the Princeton University Art Museum and have since traveled the world together. Jim proposed to Jennifer on a scuba diving expedition at Darwin Island in the Galapagos. Their Nassau Inn fall wedding was relaxed and unfussy, with a special Guinness beer course to celebrate the occasion.
They didn’t want to miss part of their wedding reception for portraits, so they decided to have a photo session on Princeton University campus before the ceremony. About half our wedding clients flaunt tradition in this way and do their “first look” before the ceremony takes place. Jennifer and Jim took a leisurely stroll around campus and on Princeton streets near the Nassau Inn, accompanied by their wedding party: the maid of honor and the “best woman.”
Monday Morning Flowers did a wonderful job with their festive reception decor in shades of dark red with little pops of orange and ivory. Berry accents in the bouquets completed the holiday feel.
One of my favorite things about their reception was the collection of vintage postcards they had assembled on a side table for guests to write a message. Since Jennifer and Jim are such avid travelers, the postcards were a perfect fit for their personalities. Bon voyage, Jennifer and Jim!
