A Hamptons Wedding in Quogue

Anna and Nick did a lot of things differently for their wedding. Anna’s dress (by Reem Acra) wasn’t white — it was a gossamer pale peach color. Instead of getting married in a church, they got married on the sand (Anna in bare feet) in their favorite Hamptons beach town. Instead of white linens, they had muslin tablecloths with blue-and-white gingham napkins. And instead of wedding cake, they had pie.

Even the weather seemed a little out of the ordinary. It had that dreamy, misty quality that sometimes drifts over east coast beach towns. The whole day seemed perfectly suited to Anna and Nick.

I shouldn’t fail to mention that Anna’s daughter Lila played an important role in the ceremony. You can certainly see how much fun she had mugging for the camera whenever she got the chance!
