Gillian and Kevin’s Winter Wedding at Holy Trinity and New Leaf Restaurant
Sometimes people are surprised when we talk about the winter weddings that Kyo photographs. “Why would people get married when it is so cold and dark?” they wonder. Gillian and Kevin’s December wedding shows why — wintertime celebrations can be so cozy, graced by glittering lights, glossy holly greens, and the softness of the winter sky.
Gillian and Kevin had a beautiful ceremony at Church of the Holy Trinity on East 88th Street, followed by a very romantic portrait session in Fort Tryon Park in Washington Heights. The night culminated with a fabulous party at New Leaf Restaurant, located in the middle of the park. As you can see from the pictures below, New Leaf was a very wise choice — the staff were unfailingly gracious, the food was superb, and the atmosphere couldn’t have been more cozy.
