Princeton engagement pictures on the D&R Canal

Princeton is such a picturesque town that when you think about “Princeton engagement pictures,” you usually think about images that capture its iconic locations like Nassau Street, Palmer Square, and all the beautiful buildings and greens on the university campus. But actually, just beyond the town, there are so many lovely spots in nature.

One of our favorite spots for photographs is the D&R Canal footpath, which winds for miles and miles alongside the Raritan River. That’s where Eileen and Elliot had their engagement pictures taken. The timing was perfect to take advantage of light. The sun was heading lower in the sky and filtered through the leaves, painting the scene in a golden glow.
