If you’re looking for charming and unconventional spot to get married in New Jersey, this is definitely a place you should visit.
The Story Behind the Manor House
The Manor House was originally the private residence of a wealthy Princeton family. Set back from Great Road with a long, winding driveway, it offers a totally secluded space for events and celebrations. Even though it’s very close to downtown Princeton, when you’re there, you feel like you’re in a world unto yourself.
Built in the 1930s, it boasts 11 bedrooms, ornate wood and stone moldings throughout the house, and stained glass depicting Arthurian legends.
And if you think the house’s interior is incredible, just wait until you see the garden!
Landscaped grounds include a walled garden and stone gazebo that make you feel like you’re walking the set of Downton Abbey or lost in the pages of a Jane Austen novel.
