the Manor House Princeton summer Hindu wedding

It’s a multi cultural wedding. The first Catholic wedding ceremony at Princeton University Chapel and then Hindu wedding at the Manor House. One of great things about photographing wedding in NYC tri-state area is that I get to document many different culture and food! Not only it’s the cultual wedding, but also this bride and groom are very nice couple, and I enjoy meeting them talking about their wedding also Geology.

They met at Princeton where we were in the same lab group in the Geosciences department. We got to know each other through classes, field trips, lab work, and department events.

We had worked together to design a ring in the fall of 2020, setting a diamond from his grandmother into the new design. We officially got engaged in January 2021 after a short hike up Gile Mountain in Norwich, VT. He proposed with the ring on the top of a fire tower at the end of the trail, where you can see out over the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire.

She loves that he is kind, conscientious, and insightful, and can put anyone at ease. He loves that she cares so much about other people and always wants to know more about anyone she meets. Mostly we love being able to debate and discuss anything and everything- from a research question one of us is working on to the latest twist in American politics to our future hopes and dreams for our life together.
