Roberta’s Pizza Brooklyn NYC restaurant wedding

This wedding at Roberta’s Pizza Brooklyn was one of my new favorite NYC restaurant wedding locations. The bride and groom made their own pizza during their ceremony— that was a new experience for me. It was a very fun and cozy wedding, especially since this couple invited me to their new home and we had a nice drink at the end of their engagement portrait session in Brooklyn. If you are looking for a restaurant wedding venue with some outdoor space with a relaxed Brooklyn vibe, I highly recommend Roberta’s Pizza!

Take a look at the beautiful flowers below. I really like them. I got to meet and chat with talented and amazing florist Lauren, the owner of Yellow Bow Floral, the day of the wedding. She shared about how they planned the flowers. Don’t we love BTS(behind the scenes)!?

Here’s what she said: “Just a few things about the flowers that may be helpful…Amanda wanted a lot of color to make the tables look fun and vibrant. She also wanted non traditional, wild flowers to give a more laid back vibe. Also, Amanda chose the bud vases for the table arrangements and her mom provided the plant stands for the altar arrangements, so that might be a nice thing to mention too!”

I photographed their engagement portrait session as well. At the end, we went to their house, and had a some portrait sessions of what they like to do to relax such as gardening, making cocktail and chilling on their couch.
