Green Building Wedding in Brooklyn: Simone and Adam

Simone’s face as she walked down the aisle at this Green Building wedding in Brooklyn was unforgettable. She was literally bursting with emotion: smiling as wide as her face would let her, while sobbing uncontrollably at the same time!

Simone and Adam’s easy-going, warm, and open personalities impressed us right from the moment we first met them, many months before their wedding. No surprise, then, that their wedding had such a warm and open vibe. First of all, they chose a great venue: The Green Building, a light-filled industrial space with a spacious outdoor courtyard. The main room’s extra high ceiling, tall plate glass windows, trestle tables and chandeliers were already so striking, Simone and Adam only had to add some DIY greenery and votive candles and the space was ready to go.

Another thing to know about Simone and Adam is that they like good food. (Seems like we share that with a lot of our clients. 😉 They wanted to find a really, really good caterer, and they did. They chose The Night Kitchen Catering, a Brooklyn-based company founded by self-taught chef Aaron Unger. His food is amazing: the menu included squash and brussel sprouts with pomegranate and almonds along with seared flank steak dressed in chimichurri sauce. (As a Japanese person, Kyo was especially thrilled to see octopus being passed around on the hors d’oeurvres platters.)

To top off Simone and Adam’s magical evening, the music was PHENOMENAL. Even the catering staff and passers-by on the street started dancing. You don’t have to wait for a wedding to hear their DJ, OP!
