An intimate Japanese wedding in New York

ニューヨークのマンハッタン北、アップステートにあるハドソン川沿いの小さな町テリータウン。マンハッタンに住んでられる花嫁さんと花婿さんがご結婚されることになりました。

式をユニオン教会で挙げられ、明るくリラックスした雰囲気の地中海のスーパーが隣接しているモロッコレストランでお食事をされました。Etsuko PlanningのEtsukoさんと彼女のチームの御蔭で素敵な挙式になりました。楽しく素敵な撮影をさせて頂きました。おめでとうございます！

This Japanese couple who have been living in New York because of his job. They love living in the U.S. and want to stay, but they thought his company would need them to move back to Japan this summer. She really wanted to celebrate their wedding in the States before they left, so on short notice, she put together a very intimate wedding celebration in Tarrytown, NY.

After a ceremony at the charming Union Church of Pocantico Hills, the wedding party headed to Mint Premium Foods, a Moroccan restaurant and Mediterranean grocery shop with a vibrant atmosphere. The combination of a casual, colorful setting with sophisticated European food was perfect for their small wedding. Kudos to Etsuko Chiba of Etsuko Planning, a Japanese wedding planner based in NYC, who organized the details so the bride and groom would have a day to remember.

And in the end, the celebration wasn’t the conclusion to their life in New York City after all. his company extended his position here, and so their wedding ended up being not the end, but the prelude to a new chapter of their adventure in the United States.
