Late Spring Mercer County Boathouse NJ Wedding
Meaghan and Cameron met us at a cafe in Princeton and immediately impressed us with their easy-going, friendly personalities. They told us that they grew up in the Princeton area and were looking forward to a big, casual, family-oriented wedding at the Mercer County Boathouse.
It’s common for couples to meet during college, but Meaghan and Cameron’s how-we-started-dating is a bit unusual. Meaghan became friends with Cameron’s twin brother in college, and that’s how she eventually met Cameron!
What they said about each other made us smile. Cameron told us, “No matter her mood, Meaghan always has some sort of witty retort which always brightens the day.”
And Meaghan told us, “I love Cameron’s calm attitude about pretty much everything since I tend to be a little more high strung.” (Though, to be honest, she didn’t seem the least bit high strung on her wedding day.)
Since they were planning to hold their celebration at the boathouse, Kyo knew that the Van Nest Wildlife Refuge was nearby. He asked Meaghan and Cameron if they’d be willing to “go for a walk in the woods” for their portrait session, and we were thrilled when Meaghan replied, “We would LOVE that!”
The day started with Meaghan getting ready at her parents’ house, along with the most charming flower girl trio ever. (Not only did their dresses match; they had matching 1920s-style bobs!)
The day ended with high-jinks in the photo booth, Cuban cigars on the porch, and sparklers as they sallied forth into the parking lot.
Congratulations, Meaghan and Cameron!
