I was born and raised in Japan and am now based in the NYC tri-state area. I began photographing as a street photographer—loading as many rolls of film as I could fit in my bag, wandering through cities, capturing moments all day long. It was addictive.

Still is. I just can’t help myself.

Despite all the advancements in technology, I still shoot with medium format (120) and 4×5 large format film, alongside various digital cameras. Some of my prints are available for purchase.

These days, my assignments take me not only around NYC but also to places far afield like India, Costa Rica, and Switzerland. I’ve shown my work in galleries throughout NYC and other cities, and my photographs have been published internationally.

For me, photography is a calling. I never know what I’ll capture tomorrow, but I’m always excited to find out. Stay tuned on social media, and subscribe to my newsletter if you’d like to follow along. Thanks always for your support.
