Published on Fly Away Bride: Sam and Adam’s Stunning Switzerland Destination Wedding

Fly Away Bride, a destination wedding inspiration blog based in Ireland, just published a lovely write-up about Samantha and Adam’s “stunning Switzerland destination wedding.” We are so glad they feel the same way we do: this was truly one of the prettiest and most memorable weddings Kyo has photographed.

The key element was certainly Sam’s crystal-clear vision of what she wanted. Sam happens to be a talented flower designer and the owner of one of our favorite flower shops, Gardenias Floral — located in our hometown, Metuchen. In the article, Sam explains how she planned a wedding from thousands of miles away. She relied on the help of a well-organized relative in Switzerland, her own connections in the floral industry, and most of all, patience and ingenuity.

There were so many things we loved about Sam and Adam’s wedding. There was the horse-driven carriage ride up to the tiny Gothic church. There were the absolutely exquisite flowers, which were all the more special because Sam created them herself (I love how she combined a variety of white flowers like roses, hydrangea, orchids, and edelweiss with succulents and rustic greenery like moss and birch). There were the jaw-dropping views of the Alps and Lake St. Moritz. And there were Sam and Adam’s glowing smiles and the palpable sense of love and joy they felt amidst their friends and family.

Read the Fly Away Bride post to see more pictures and learn how Sam put the whole event together.
