Van Vleck House & Gardens and Montclair Art Museum NJ Wedding
Sara and Jamie’s fun-loving spirit is infectious. No matter what the conditions, they radiate warmth and laughter. Every time Kyo has photographed them, the weather has been less than cooperative. At their wintertime engagement session in Central Park, the temperature was positively frigid, and at their wedding last month, the weather was cold and rainy. But you would never know it from the pictures! (As a matter of fact, sometimes adverse weather makes the most beautiful pictures — when the light refracts gently through the rain, it adds romance to photographs).
They assembled an amazing team of people for their wedding. Food Company Catering oversaw everything from decor to food. The predominant color for the wedding was purple, which can be a very overpowering color, but the way Trisha from Food Company wove it into the decor was subtle and elegant. The Montclair Art Museum was the perfect party venue, and DJ Ollie from Scratch Weddings and Jim from JB Lighting created the perfect mood for revelry.
