How to Craft a Non-Boring Wedding Website
Kyo photographed Michelle and Rex’s wedding in April, and I first saw Michelle and Rex’s very funny wedding website many months ago, but even now, it still makes me smile from ear to ear. How many couples include a multiple choice quiz that not only makes you laugh out loud, but captures their personalities to a “T”?
It might be tempting to just put in the bare bones details like directions from your ceremony to your reception, and the link to your wedding registry, but there will certainly be some guests who know the bride better than the groom, and vice versa, and perhaps even some friends of your parents who don’t even know you at all — why not help them get to know the two of you a little better?
Just in case you’re looking for a little inspiration, take a look at what Rex put together. (Michelle told me that the website was all Rex’s doing. He made it to surprise her. ) Even if you don’t know Michelle and Rex or any of their friends, Rex packed so much personality — and such a sly sense of humor — into the short text that you’ll wish you knew all of them.
