Last month Kyo photographed a lifestyle feature for TheKitchn.com, featuring recipes based on Kraft’s “Fresh Take” breadcrumb mix. We had so much fun working with their team — they whipped up a fantastic party plan that was not only easy, but had a menu both kids and adults would like.
The Whistling Wolf Farm seedlings are just popping up in the greenhouse at Sandbrook Meadow Farm. Overhead it’s still winter…. But inside the greenhouse, tiny tufts of green are poking their way through the dirt.
Yesterday, March 3rd, was Girls Day in Japan, known in Japanese as Hinamatsuri. It is a day when all families with girls in the house celebrate by placing special dolls on display that, according to superstition, will ensure the girls’ happy marriage when they grow up.

Last week we visited our friend Helen, who owns Whistling Wolf Farm, one of the farms who sell at the Metuchen Farmers Market. We are just beginning an exciting project with her: this year, we’re going to document the whole process of planting, tending, and harvesting vegetables at her farm.
