A Rollicking Metuchen Event: The Clayhole Brothers in Concert

On a warm summer evening in July, the Clayhole Brothers captivated a packed house at the Old Franklin School. I especially loved the murder ballad (I wish I could remember the name of the song!) and their crowd-friendly rendition of “Freight Train.”

Many thanks to the Borough Improvement League for their amazing work in planning and hosting Metuchen’s first Summer House for the Arts, and for the support of the Metuchen Arts Council — together these two organizations are responsible for a plethora of inspiring Metuchen events. We are lucky to have them.
