A Kiss in Midtown: Sarah and Michael’s NYC Engagement Shoot
Sarah and Michael wanted to have their engagement photos taken at the Love Statue and Central Park in NYC, but when Kyo met them at the Love Statue recently, it turned out to be under construction! He squeezed in some close-up portraits, and then they just had some fun on the city streets before heading into the park. When it comes to weddings — and engagements — things don’t always go as planned. Sometimes our happiest moments are the most unplanned ones, as a matter of fact. Sarah and Michael definitely have the spirit.
When we first met them, Sarah said that she still hadn’t picked out her wedding shoes. Since she’s from Texas, we are hoping she’ll choose cowboy boots. Her wedding is in July (not too far away, now), so we’ll get to find out what she chose soon enough. Both Sarah and Michael wore great shoes to their engagement shoot, so their wedding day ensembles are going to be sharp. Can’t wait!

Beautiful pictures! Morishima did a great job – the city-scapes were pretty cool, like the “caution” tape – I would never have thought to use it so creatively like that!
