A Metuchen wedding with portraits at Roosevelt Park

Although we’ve lived in Metuchen for almost 10 years, most of our weddings are in Princeton and New York City, so we don’t get to capture a local wedding as often as we would like. So it was a huge pleasure to capture Cristina and Bob’s Metuchen wedding celebration at St. Francis Cathedral. (Not to mention that Bob is the sister of Annie, whose wedding Kyo photographed on a beautiful snowy day in December.)

Cristina and Bob obviously love music because they picked an awesome live band to play at their wedding. Gina and the Corner Boys are a Philadelphia-based crew, and they brought down the house at Cristina and Bob’s wedding. Or perhaps I should say that Cristina and Bob brought down the house themselves — late in the evening they ended up on stage with Bob pouring his heart and soul into the mike (while Cristina hugged him with a huge smile).

Check out their dance pictures. This was not a party full of wallflowers. Cristina and Bob’s friends and family gave that dance floor a workout!
