Park Slope Engagement Portrait: Eliza and Ben

Eliza and Ben absolutely love their Brooklyn neighborhood, Park Slope. Plus they are self-described “down-to-earth, casual” people.

So it was only natural that their Park Slope engagement pictures be a totally relaxed saunter around some of their favorite neighborhood spots. As Eliza explained to us,

We want to walk around our neighborhood–just as we often do together. We love living in Park Slope and the first weekend we spent together, back in August 2013, we took a long walk through Prospect Park and the surrounding streets.

And that’s exactly what they did. They started at Grand Army Plaza, enjoyed the views in Prospect Park, took a short stroll around the block with their adorable chocolate Weimaraner, Dominic, paused to appreciate some classic Brooklyn graffiti, and ended with a few iconic portraits overlooking the Gowanus Canal.

Speaking of their dog, Eliza told us that “We started talking about marriage when we were starting the adoption process for our dog, Dominic.”

It looks like Dominic fully supports the upcoming marriage. The question is, will he be in the wedding portraits, too?

We hope so!
