Wedding party group portrait on 3rd floor at Metropolitan Building in Long Island City, NY

Multi-cultural wedding party smiles and laughs during portrait session on the third floor at Metropolitan Building in Long Island City, NY. Flower girls wear baby’s breath wreaths in their hair.

This was such a boisterous and fun-filled wedding, thanks to the bride’s effervescent personality and the groom’s dry sense of humor. It’s no surprise that their portraits were full of laughter and wall-to-wall smiles.

The wedding itself had lots of style and no pretension, just like the bride. It was designed by Krystle DeSantos, a prolific fashion and lifestyle blogger, who was once a colleague of the bride’s when they both previously worked at Apartment Therapy. It took place at the Metropolitan Building, one of NYC’s most flexible event spaces — a sprawling loft-style, 4-story building in Long Island City filled with an eclectic assortment of artwork and antiques.

The bride wore Pronovias and the flowers came from online wholesaler FlowerMuse.
